Lenormand "Work/Career" Cards

In a Lenormand card reading, specific cards are often associated with work, career, or employment. Keep in mind that interpretations can vary slightly among different readers, but generally, the following cards are commonly linked to work-related matters:

  1. Anchor (Card 35): The Anchor card is frequently associated with stability, and in the context of work, it can represent a steady job or a long-term commitment.

  2. Bouquet/Flowers (Card 9): The Bouquet card is often seen as a positive card, and in the context of work, it may signify a pleasant work environment or a job that brings joy and satisfaction.

  3. Fish (Card 34): The Fish card is associated with wealth and abundance. In a work context, it can represent financial success and prosperity in one's career.

  4. House (Card 4): The House card can symbolize your workplace or the environment in which you work. It may also represent your career as a whole.

  5. Moon (Card 32): The Moon card is linked to intuition and emotions. In the context of work, it can suggest a career that involves creativity, intuition, or the arts.

  6. Rider (Card 1): The Rider card can sometimes indicate news or messages. In a work context, it might represent news related to your career or changes in your employment situation.

  7. Fox (Card 14): The Fox card is often associated with cunning, cleverness, and strategy. In the context of work, it can suggest the need to be shrewd or strategic in your career endeavors. It may indicate a job that requires intelligence, resourcefulness, or adaptability. On the negative side, it could also signify deceit or manipulation in the workplace, so it's important to be cautious and observant of your surroundings. The Fox card can also represent freelance or independent work, as well as entrepreneurship. It encourages you to use your skills and wits to navigate your career path successfully.

  8. The Lily (Card 30): The Lily card is often associated with wisdom, maturity, and a sense of calm. In the context of work, it may suggest a career that is stable, long-lasting, and characterized by a mature and harmonious work environment. This card can indicate a job that brings a sense of fulfillment, experience, and wisdom. The Lily can also represent a mentor or someone wise in the workplace who can offer guidance and support. It suggests a career that aligns with your values and provides a sense of inner peace and satisfaction. On the flip side, in some cases, the Lily may suggest a career that might be perceived as too traditional or slow-moving. It encourages you to bring a sense of maturity and patience to your work, understanding that success may come with time and experience.

  9. Tower (Card 19): The Tower card is often associated with institutions, corporations, and official structures. In the context of work, it may represent a large organization, government entity, or a corporate environment. This card can signify a job in a hierarchical setting, such as a company with a clear chain of command.

For me personally, I tend to use the Fox card as my "work" card and when I'm reading for clients I use the Tower. As with any Lenormand card, the interpretation can be influenced by surrounding cards and the specific question asked. It's important to consider the overall context of the reading for a comprehensive understanding.
